well marriage is early to say now as things happen along the phase..
it may be also a break up as well after marriage and back together after that…right?

So if marriage is the final phase of dating – where are you at when you’ve been married to the same person for 37 years ;)

The 8 Phases became depressing after all. I’d hate to think that most relationships work out that way because if it did, there HAS to be a way to cut through the crap and just get better – minus ex-boyfriend and whole scenario of wanting to get back together.
Anybody have any suggestions as to how to pick up from that ‘Too Comfortable’ phase? Everyone’s bound to get there… and there SHOULD be a way back to Phase 1. Somehow.

Yeah, how do we get back to Phase 1? I think it’s initiative… and the most powerful of all – it’s called LOVE *wink*

Kevin… after married for 37 years, I believe you’re at the Marriage phase. But not all married lives are as depicted on the illustration right? My parents have been married for over 40 years, and they’re still very happily married. The key is LOVE, even without much sex… =)

agree on that..lots of love and you have to be creative with expressing your love..not just a simple saying of ‘i love you’ everyday..

I have to admit that this is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. Funny, because it’s true and I can see my own relationship at some of those stages. Wait, maybe that’s not a good thing? LOL
